Live Oak Gastropub @ Burnsville is widely praised for its inviting atmosphere, blending chic and updated decor with a warm, welcoming vibe. Reviewers consistently highlight the quality and freshness of the food, with popular menu items such as poke nachos, trout BLT, and Cuban sandwich standing out. The gastropub caters well to a variety of tastes, though some customers express a desire for a broader menu selection. Service receives frequent commendations for being friendly, efficient, and attentive, contributing to an overall enjoyable dining experience. While seating can feel slightly tight and certain environmental factors like patio sheeting have drawn minor critiques, these do not significantly detract from the overall appeal. This is a new restaurant in town and it’s amazing. We have already come twice for dinner. The service is excellent. The ladies at the front always greet you with a smile. Atmosphere is great. The decor is well done. Seating is a bit tight but not a problem. I wish they had more options in their menu. The Cuban sandwich was very flavorful. The burger was ok. Jerk chicken Alfredo was delicious...the chicken was so good.

This gastropub was so chic and the food was amazing! My husband got the trout BLT which was fantastic, the shrimp and grits were great and my boys just got french fries which have to be the best fries we've had in YEARS. I LOVED the decor, which is updated and not reflected in the pictures on google. GREAT lunch!

We enjoyed our happy hour experience on the patio here! Decent selection of wine and the Poke Nachos can’t be beat! Service was excellent too. I rated the atmosphere one less star only because the plastic weather sheeting was down around the perimeter of the patio during our visit on a nice sunny day- would have loved to feel the fresh mountain air!

We arrived here on a very foggy day after a long Drive on Blue Ridge Pkw the food was amazing and the staff very friendly. This was truly a Gem of a location to grab some tasty local food. The portions were very good in size. We had the Chicken Alfredo and Cuban sandwich. The Chicken Alfredo was spot on, Chicken tasted very fresh and flavorful, the pasta was well cooked and seasoned. The Cuban Sandwich was also very tasty, the pork was very flavorful with a nice portion of fresh cooked fries. Thanks to Karen for taking care of us.

My boyfriend and I were on our way to Asheville after a wonderful hike and decided to stop and have lunch here. The people were super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! Where as they don't normally allow pets on the their patio due to the smaller space, I do have a service dog and they were more than accommodating for my little guy, as I did not want to leave him in the car on a hot day. We did forget our leftovers, but the flatbread (The Carnivore, I do believe) my boyfriend ordered was so yummy that we decided to turn around and get it. Thankfully, they had saved it just in case we had decided to return. We were very delighted that they had. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and we will definitely be back again and mention this restaurant to others! :)

I've been eagerly awaiting the opening of Live Oak Gastropub in Burnsville, NC, and they absolutely did not disappoint. During their Pop-Up Sneak Peek, we were warmly greeted by Deanna, the owner, whose passion for the space was clear from the start. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance struck the perfect balance between cozy and stylish. Looking forward to many return visits once they're fully up and running!
